For Genoa Shipping Week 2017, an event held every two years that attracts international shipping representatives to Genoa, we greeted our guests with a cocktail party at “Centro Surf” on the Genoa waterfront.

A stone’s throw away from Portofino in the incomparable and impressive corner of the Gulf of Tigullio stands La Cervara, a 14th century Benedictine abbey. La Cervara has hosted no less than 12 editions of the traditional “Late Spring Event”, during which we had the honour of welcoming the biggest names in international shipping.
After the sun sets on the banchero costa Golf Classic, a tournament reserved for golfers and played in the morning at the Circolo Golf and Tennis Rapallo, the lights are turned up on the monastery’s marvellous gardens, where guests gather for the evening gala “A Taste of Italy”.
In this magical corner with breath-taking views of the Ligurian Sea, guests from all over the world are treated to a true eno-gastronomic tour dedicated each year to four different Italian regions, sampling a selection of fine wines paired with culinary specialities.
